Pot Activist Wants Pardons & Compensation For Convictions

Pot activist Dana Larsen wants much more than automatic criminal pardons for anyone convicted of a marijuana related crime. He wants financial compensation for every day someone spends in jail for a marijuana related crime.

11,970 British Columbians were charged with pot-related offences in 2016 alone.

Marijuana Pardon Wait Times

Under Canadian law, anyone convicted of simple possession of up to 30 grams can currently apply to have their conviction pardoned 5 years after their sentence is complete.
